I get people saying all thE time, ‘Ray whats the best thing you are proud of with J4K’
Too me the answer is simple, its the students I meet who become my friends. Today is a sad day because J4k loses one of the nicest young men you would ever want to meet… but its a happy one as Gary is now taking the next steps of his life.
This is the email Gary just sent me… GARY ITS BE AN HONOUR AND PLEASURE KNOWING YOU MY FRIEND!
I had my last ever J4K session last night. It was brilliant, as the sessions always are. I’ve been at J4K for about 11 years now, and every session has been amazing!! J4K is one of the few things that has remained consistent in my life. The coaches and students have changed, but the quality of the coaching has remained as exceptional as it always was.
I don’t know how many footballs I’ve caught, how many saves I’ve made, or how many nights I’ve come home caked in mud, but I do know that every second that I’ve been at J4K has been worth it!
I remember when J4K only ran sessions at a couple of venues, now J4K is international!! You’ve achieved so much with the company in such a short space of time, and I hope J4K continues to grow and become even more massive!
J4K has taught me everything I know about goalkeeping, and the techniques I’ve learnt will stay with me forever and will still hopefully help me improve my goalkeeping in the future.
Thank you so much for all the help, support, advice, and the amazing experience that I’ve had over the past 11 years!! Its greatly appreciated!
I just can’t believe its finally over for me. (I also can’t believe that my mum’s washing machine still works, considering how much mud and grass its collected over the years!)
I’m hopefully going to continue playing football, maybe at University. I also spoke to Dan Gordon, he told me to say hi for him, and he wishes everything is going good. Dan was a good friend of mine in college, probably originally because of Just 4 Keepers.
Thank you again for everything. Its been great.
