Lewis – Goalkeeper Coaching Somerset

Bio

Lewis started playing in goal at the age of six, when his older brother’s team needed a goalkeeper for a training game, and Lewis realised how fun and enjoyable goalkeeping is.
Lewis has played within the Western League and the Somerset County League for nearly ten years and brings a wealth of experience as both a player and coach within this environment. Lewis also has experience of coaching in the JPL and understands the requirements of goalkeepers within all formats of the game. Lewis continues to play as a goalkeeper and is always looking forward to sharing stories, experiences and skills with his players to support them in their development and journey.
Lewis has completed a BSc (hons) in Football Community Coaching and Administration, and this aids Lewis with the most up to date knowledge to support all players he coaches. Lewis is also a UEFA qualified coach and has completed the FA National Goalkeeping Course.
As a qualified personal trainer, Lewis understands the importance of the physical element of goalkeeping and brings this to each session.
Lewis has over eight years of management experience in previous roles and understands the importance of individual player’s needs and adapting his approach to support everyone.
Lewis also has two children and understands wanting the best for your children, so you know you are in safe hands.
