Finger & Wrist injuries?
This season I seem to have had my fair share of students getting finger injuries,from sprains to surgery then the hard work to recovery.
What can we do to help prevent these injuries ?
As goalkeepers we train at match pace,balls come at us fast,from different angles,bouncing balls all trying to reciprocate match scenarios finger/wrist injuries are inevitable.
With all the repetition you should consider taping your fingers & wrists for extra support.Sometimes properly placed tape can really make the difference between minor tweaks and a nasty injury.Dont get me wrong,neither is great.But one is definitely worst.
