Improving Goal Kicks
Goal kicks and distribution from the feet is a massive part of goalkeeping, rule changes and the speed of the game becoming faster mean its now essential goalkeepers are comfortable on the ball and can distribute with both feet.
Here are some examples of goal kicks, notice how relaxed and effortless both keepers run ups and strikes through the ball are and also just as important there technique after the kick has been taken.
As you can see it looks very easy but as most skills they need a lot of practise, if you speak to your goalkeeper coach and get them to show you the correct technique then its all about practise makes perfect. I would recommend practising your goal kicks at least 3 times a week if possible.
