Happy Goalkeeping memories

I thought I would share this very happy memory with you all. This was me aged just 20 years old making my professional debut. This was in the FA Cup and I was playing for Plymouth Arglye.

I was sooo nervous because not only was I taking over the legend Peter Shilton but it was getting televised.

But on top of all this, I found out the centre forward was 6ft 5inches and he was the small one. Seriously the other forward was 6ft 6inches! lol

However as soon as the whistle blew and I was fully focused on the game. We won 3-2 and i got man of the match in many of the main sunday newspapers.. so it was not a bad professional debut for me!

Hope you enjoyed me sharing my story.
