On leaving Hull City, Adam had spells with Scunthorpe United and Reading.
After a short spell with both clubs, Adam played semi professional for Goole Town, until a sickening injury finished his young career.
Adam got offered a full time role with Hull City’s ‘Football in the Community,’ specializing in coaching their goalkeepers, and it was here that Adam realised that he wanted to spend the rest of his career coaching.
Adam has also run his own goalkeeping schools for the past four years and, in September 2005, was hand picked by the East Ridings FA to be their head goalkeeping coach for their development team.
In this period, he also became the head goalkeeper coach for the East Ridings male/female representative teams, as well as getting the head goalkeeper-coaching job for the East Riding FA’s ‘Girl’s Centre of Excellence.’
On top of all this, he is the head keeper coach for Wilberforce college in Hull, and he manages Hall Road Rangers reserve team, who are a semi professional club.
