Neil is an ex ENGLAND International and Premiership Goalkeeper!!!

At the tender age of just thirteen Neil packed his bags, left home and headed off to the FA National School of Excellence at Lilleshall that is a residential programme for the ELITE of young English players.

Neil CutlerAt just fourteen Neil was an England International representing his country all over the world and playing at stadium’s like Wembley and the Berlin Olympic stadium in front of tens of thousands of fans!

After leaving Lilleshall Neil signed professional for West Bromwich Albion at the age of seventeen. While at WBA Neil, gained experience by going out on loan to Tamworth, and Chester City. After three years at the Hawthorns he moved to Crewe Alexandra and then back to Chester City.

Neil played that well for Chester City, premiership giants Aston Villa came in for him were he battled for the first team shirt against David James and Peter Enckelman. Neil also played a part in the semi final of the league cup and the very last FA cup final to be played at the old Wembley stadium.

After a few seasons at Aston Villa, Neil then signed for Stoke City were he played over 100 professional games and experienced promotion at the Millennium Stadium!

Before getting injured and having to retire, Neil also played over 100 games, for Stockport County, Swansea City and Rotherham United.

Neil says he has been very fortunate to be taught and work alongside some of the best goalkeepers in the world, that include David James, Ed de Goey (ex Chelsea) Ronnie Sinclair, Paul Barron, Ben Foster, Erik Steele, Steve Ogrizovich, Mike Kelly and Mervyn Day.

After retiring from the game 5Yrs ago due to a persistent back injury Neil threw himself straight into coaching and has been First Team Goalkeeping Coach at Hereford Utd, Bury Fc,  Scunthorpe Utd and currently Walsall FC

Neil is qualified at UEFA B Level in both Goalkeeping and Outfield badges.

For the young goalkeepers in the Midlands who want to improve, J4K cannot recommend Neil enough! He has played at the highest level possible and can put you on the right road to success!
