Lee is ex Premiership keeper with a vast amount of experience.

Lee has had a bright and wonderful career starting when in 1994 Arsenal and the then manager George Graham bought him from non league for a then record fee of £150,000. This was the year after Arsenal won the European Cup. (This record fee still stands today!!!)

Lee made his premier league debut for Arsenal in March 1997 against Southampton winning 2-0 under the new and current manager of Arsene Wenger. However despite Arsene offering Lee an additional 2 year contract he decided to move clubs mainly due to the fact that England’s no1 Dave Seamen stood in his way .

Lee joined Queens Park Rangers under Stewart Houston and Bruce Rioch for £250,000 where he spent 4 years playing almost 180 league and cup matches winning two player of the year awards along the way!

In 2001 after the club entered administration he joined Walsall in the championship and spent one year there before joining Northampton town in the summer of 2002 where he spent the next five years playing almost 200 league and cup games also winning the highly prestigious PFA divisional player of the year award in 2003. Lee also won the clubs player of the year award in the same season.

Lee states this was a memorable season for him, not only because of winning to fantastic awards but also for playing Manchester United in the fourth round of the FA cup saving a Diego Forlan penalty and setting a club record of 22 clean sheets for the season.

He stayed at Northampton until 2007 then joining MK Dons until the summer of 2008 before joining Kettering town FC winning the blue square south division keeping 19 clean sheets in the process.

The following season they beat Notts County, Lincoln before losing to Fulham in the FA cup losing 3-2 and finishing seventh first season back in the conference.

In 2008/2009 Lee became the player manager of Kettering in October and guided the team to 6th in the conference and also played Leeds united in the FA cup taking them to a replay at Elland road where Lee got man of the match!

Lee is now focusing on goalkeeper coaching throughout his region and will benefit many many young keepers lucky enough to be taught by Lee.
