Alex is an Ex Charlton FC keeper with a wealth of Goalkeeper Coaching experience.

Alex was tipped for the top when scouted by West Ham whilst playing for the District side aged just 12 years old, after impressing with a Man of the Match performance in a cup final at the Priestfield Stadium. He was later signed by Charlton Athletic where he played for several seasons making numerous appearances. During this time he was coached by the excellent Alex Welsh.

Aged just twenty two, a serious foot injury ended his young career. As he wanted to follow his love of goalkeeping Alex turned his hand to goalkeeper coaching and helping other young keepers in Kent have the same opportunities he had as a youngster.

He had been running his own goalkeeper classes successfully for over four years when after a chance meeting with a Just4keepers coach, Alex decided to join forces with J4K as he felt the combined coaching experience the J4K coaches had was something that he could tap into to further help his students.

North Kent training sessions will all take place on grass to enable your goalkeeper to deal with the ball in all weather situations that they will encounter in their matches.

Alex has his FA Level 2 Goalkeeping badge and is now taking his UEFA B Licence.
