Goalkeeper Training in Newcastle
Michael started playing in goal when he was just 9 years old, and quickly become one of the best keepers in his area, representing at county level and he also had trials for England Schoolboys.
He was at Newcastle United’s centre of excellence for 5 years before moving to Carlisle United where he spent 4 years, before being released due to his height.
From there Michael used his coaching qualifications and experience gained into coaching local junior football, which he has been involved in for the last 7 years. He is FA qualified, CRB cleared, first aid and safeguarding children trained.
Michael has also been coached by Simon Smith ,Pat Bonner, Mervyn Day and Henry Smith. He now runs goalkeeper training Newcastle with Just4Keepers.
